Living Abroad 60 began as a personal journey — a space to document my life, share my experiences, and inspire others 60 and over to explore the world without fear.

As the channel grew, it evolved into something more:

A platform centered around reinvention, global living, and creating income from lived experience.

⚠️ The Challenge

This was not a traditional business from the start.

• No defined niche in the beginning

• Content driven by personal experience, not strategy

• Audience needs evolving in real time

• YouTube AdSense monetization was not approved

As the channel grew, I had to answer a deeper question:

Instead of waiting for monetization through YouTube, I redefined the role of the channel.

I realized:

• My audience was not just watching — they were seeking guidance

• My lived experience had real value

• My content could evolve into offers that serve and support

This shifted the channel from content creation → to platform building.

The channel evolved to focus on:

• Living abroad after 55

• Reinvention and starting over

• Creating income from your skills and life experience

Content became more intentional — designed to connect emotionally while providing direction and clarity.
